My life with a Land Rover started in 1993 when, still a University student, I restored a 1970 Land Rover SIIA abandoned by its former owner in a field and in need of some love.
After a childhood and a youth spent dismantling (or better destroying model car toys…and other means of transport…) I saw in the encounter with that old british lady a sort of nemesis.
After the Landy came a large number of Range Rovers, most of which I still own. Many were in need of restoration and repair and I learned, and I’m still learning, quite a lot about them.
The lack of some obsolete parts was sometimes frustrating and used ones were good only for the trash bin…
So with a bit of unconsciousness, a lot of passion and some money saved in the years….I decided to start this adventure.
Time will tell if I’ve been wrong….but at least, one day, I won’t say “If only I had tried…”
